The Dastrup Family Organization (DFO), was founded in 1927 for the purpose of gathering and sharing genealogical information on Dastrup families, allied families and all descendants; and to promote fellowship among the living members.

• The genealogies located and maintained at this specific internet domain site purposely exclude any names and/or data of any known living descendants. This is to protect their identity and privacy. The data for the living can generally be made available, as appropriate, to other family members and/or researchers, with the written permission of those living individual(s) directly involved.

Complete and total accuracy in genealogy is always a noble goal, though rarely completely achieved in practice. However, that goal always directs our efforts to be as accurate and responsible as possible with the information available to us.
